Did 30+ years with the USN. Now work at Circus-Circus Hotel Casino as a stationary engineer. Maintain two European made tram car people movers. My original ham call sign was WN6OVP. While stationed in Antarctica i used the ham call sign WA6OVP /KC4. For several years I had the call sign VK6AVP. Currently my primary interest is PSK-31 on HF radio. Using MIXW software I have 7906 PSK-31 qso's. I have completed 1928 PSK-31 qso's using less than ten watts. My antenna is a ground mounted Butternut vertical. Easy to find, just check PSK-31 signals on either 14070 or 7070 USB.
Have been married 41+ years. My wife Dee KA7LOZ is also active in amateur radio. She is very active in local amateur radio groups and the National Weather Service.
